Glover Industrial Estate lies to the north east of Washington town centre close to the A1231 Sunderland Highway which links the A1M to the A19. The A19 lies approximately 2 miles to the east of the property, the A1M 3 miles to the west and the A194M 2 miles to the north and so provides an economic local solution to meet your needs.
Our Spire house warehousing facilities has over thirty seven thousand square feet of storage capacity, installed with Top spec brand new Dexion racking rated to 1Mt at all heights – Medical, food and industrially approved.
Spire house is manned 24/7 and is covered by a newly installed internal and external CCTV system and intruder alarm both of which are linked to the main hospital security hub at the QE 10mins drive away. Security locks have been installed on a number of the primary access points. Access though office hours is via the security reception. Access to the site is restricted out of hours with the site secured by access gate the whole site is fitted with a newly installed Intruder system.
All stock brought into the warehouse is entered into the stock management system which provides precise storage locations, customer details, item details and details of stock movements including point of delivery.
The pricing matrix below is inclusive of weekly stock reports in order customers are fully aware
of the stock and finance position for items in store at spire house. Customers are invited to visit
the warehouse to review and audit their stock at any time.
With the warehouse operating its own fork lifts and reach trucks and with QE Transport teams based out of this facility, QEF are able to offer a range of tailored services from storage only, through to a fully managed collection, warehousing and delivery service.
Our logistics team will manage and provide weekly updated on the levels of stock a customer’s holds within the facility along with ensuring the there is an audit trail from goods being receipted to goods being delivered.
Our own onsite transport team work closely with the logistics team to coordinate the appropriate and most economic vehicle and route to collect and deliver customers stock as part of our fully managed service.
Our warehousing/storage charges are based on a standard wooden pallet (48 in × 40 in × 6 in or 122 cm × 102 cm × 15 cm) with a static load bearing capacity of 3 short tons based on 7 days charge.
The conferencing and training hub consists of two fully equipped board room style meeting rooms, a large self contained conferencing facilities and state of the are soft walled and floored training rooms. Our conferencing suites are supported by a dedicated hospitality catering services.
