QEF Apprentice Secures Award

Due to the COVID pandemic, the Northern & Yorkshire NHS Assessment Centre was unable to hold its annual Apprentice Presentation Evening in 2021 which takes place to celebrate the achievements of each apprentice throughout the year. However, it was important that the hard work and achievements of apprentices across the region did not go unrecognised in what has been an especially challenging time for everyone so the awards were decided to be presented to apprentices individually.

Congratulations to Aaron Carr, a Medical Engineering Apprentice from QE Facilities, who received a Certificate of Commendation for his outstanding achievement in the past year of his training.

Michael Crowe, Head of Medical Engineering at QE Facilities, said “Aaron has excelled in his studies as well as his onsite training here at the QE Gateshead. The Medical Engineering team is extremely proud of Aaron and his achievements and look forward to him completing his training with QE Facilities over the coming years. Congratulations Aaron, well done and well deserved.”
