QE Facilities Appoints Simon Jefferson as Non-Executive Director

QE Facilities, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust (GHFT), has appointed Simon Jefferson as Non-Executive Director, bringing commercial insight and governance expertise to the Board. 

Mr Jefferson will join the organisation in July. He brings more than 20 years’ experience in senior commercial leadership roles across multiple sectors, including water, environmental services, and infrastructure.  

He has previously held roles at Ramboll, Adler and Allan, Catsurveys, and Panton McLeod, following 15 years with Northumbrian Water. He has also served as a Non-Executive Director at St Cuthbert’s Hospice, supporting the organisation’s long-term development and sustainability.  

QE Facilities provides and manages estates and facilities services to NHS Trusts and other organisations across Gateshead, Yorkshire, Scotland, and Coventry. Mr Jefferson’s appointment reflects QE Facilities’ focus on quality, assurance, and strong governance as it continues to grow.
