QE Facilities are working in partnership with Newcastle Hospitals.
We are pleased to announce Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals (NUTH) and QE Facilities (Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trusts wholly owned subsidiary) have entered in to a cooperation agreement to deliver services between organisations.
Under this Co-operation Agreement QE Facilities will provide an estates management service to a number of Newcastle Hospitals’ remote sites and in return Newcastle Hospitals’ estates department will provide a co-ordinated Authorising Engineers service across the QE Facilities managed sites.
The collaboration forms part of drive for Trusts to work together to increase efficiency and reduce costs within in the NHS, as recommended in The Lord Carter Report, 2015.
Working together and sharing services, the aims are to create operational and financial benefits by utilising the knowledge and expertise from within the organisations, delivering savings back into the NHS economy.
