The move has been necessary due to the continued work around the clock to support various services for Gateshead Heath NHS foundation Trust.
We also continue to provide robust services across the North East and Yorkshire along with our ongoing commitments to Coventry & Warwickshire Pathology Services during this unprecedented and difficult period.
QE Transport also continue to play a major part in the rapid expansion of our pharmacy to home services.
QE Transport has quickly responded to the heightened quantity of patient movement from discharge to their places of residence, along with a sharp increase in the movement of staff from their homes to be tested for Covid-19.
We have also responded to number of requests to collect and deliver PPE for Trusts across the region, and responded to the increased demand for specialised clinical courier work.
