QEF are delighted to announce the Director of Finance - Mr Anthony Robson has been shortlisted in the category of HFMA Director of Finance of the year award 2017.
This is well deserved recognition for the outstanding contribution he has made to QEF and the Gateshead Health Group.
Anthony is one of four Finances Directors shortlisted for this prestigious award.
Anthony works tirelessly to improve the way finance and support services are delivered within the NHS not only within QE Facilities limited here in Gateshead, but with a whole host of other NHS organisations the length and breadth of the country through QEF’s consultancy services.

They encompass a membership community that represents a third of all finance staff working in UK healthcare.
The HFMA National Healthcare Finance Awards 2017.
HFMA’s National Healthcare Finance Awards programme recognises the work of finance teams and individuals from across the UK.
The awards cover the fundamental aspects of the finance team role: including the production of the accounts, costing, governance, training and development, as well as the vital area of innovation.
Crucially, given the importance of spreading financial awareness outside of finance departments, the awards also focus on the importance of engaging clinicians in financial management.
The winner will be announced at the hfma national conference held in London in December 2017.
