QE Facilities are delighted to announce that our Transport department, QE Transport, has successfully demonstrated the high operational standards required to be recognised by the Freight Transport Association as Van Excellence Operators.
The scheme is centred around the Van Excellence Code and provides operators with the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to safer, more efficient and sustainable van fleets.
We would like to say a big congratulations to the team for their fantastic effort and dedication!
QE Facilities would like to say a huge thank you to all local companies, schools and individuals who have come together to support us, and everyone at QE Gateshead during this incredibly difficult time.
We sincerely appreciate all of the kindness and generosity we have received and continue to receive during the COVID-19 outbreak. All of the beautiful letters and drawings from local schools continue to brighten up the hospital and keep our teams smiling. 🌈
Congratulations to this month's employee of the month, Mr Dave Heath - pictured with Managing Director, Peter Harding. On the evening of Friday the 9th of August there was a national issue with the power infrastructure which caused a site wide power outage on the QEH site. Despite it being a Friday, not only did Dave answer his phone when he was called by his Manager, but he immediately agreed to attend and was on site supporting us within 20 minutes. Dave has extensive site wide knowledge and his willingness to drop everything and attend was greatly appreciated assisted in the minimisation of the disruption to our clinical services. Dave has clearly demonstrated the QE Facilities values Professional, Proud and Passionate and, therefore, we believe he is well deserving of the employee of the month award....
