We are delighted to announced that we have been shortlisted in three categories at the Healthcare Estates IHEEM Awards 2026.
The awards, which take place in October, celebrate the achievements of estates and facilities teams working across the healthcare sector in the UK.
QE Facilities Porter Mark Dykes has been shortlisted for Estates and Facilities Champion of Champions, recognising his unrelenting commitment to the care of patients and colleagues in Gateshead.
The recent refurbishment of the Northern Gynaecological Oncology Centre (NGOC), Colposcopy, and Children and Young People’s Departments in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital has been shortlisted for Refurbishment Project of the Year, and the whole QE Facilities team has been shortlisted for the Estates and Facilities Team of the Year.
The nominations cap a landmark year for QE Facilities, which launched a new corporate strategy and extended its services into new regions across the UK.
